260304 - Tactical Rifle Instructor's Course - LE Only - March 4-7, 2026 (San Jose, CA)

This course provides students with the information and hands-on experience needed to effectively instruct in the use of a tactical rifle, providing new instructors with teaching techniques and technical knowledge of the AR-15/M4 Rifle used in a law enforcement setting.

This will be an interactive class with required student participation throughout the training. This course is certified by California POST and will satisfy their requirements to instruct Law Enforcement Officers in the use of a tactical rifle (AR-15/M4), including short-barreled rifles as specified in Penal Code section 33220(b) and the Commission training requirement to possess long-barreled rifles as specified in Commission Regulation 1081.

PREREQUISITES
Active-duty Law Enforcement Officer / Rangemaster, designated by their agency as a Firearms Instructor / Rangemaster, and previous completion of a CA POST or Federal Law Enforcement Certified Firearms Instructor Course (No Exceptions)
